Note on the satellite mobile setup: The AO-27 Mobile station is on the air using a Yaesu FT-100, single M2 HO-Loops on each band, Three Antenna switchs in the half duplex mode, the Dual Band Icom vertical antenna is used on the low elevation passes. The split mode is used using the duplex memories provided in the FT-100 . Since the FT-100 does not have full duplex in the satellite modes, an estimation on the uplink frequency is used based on past experince on the various satellites. At this time, there are no receiver preamps or amplifiers on 70 cm yet.
2 MTR / 432 EME station has been improved with a Yaesu FT-847 and Antenna Arrays under construction. Arrays shall be completed by end of April 2000 ( weather permitting ).
A new type of EME Array is under construction. It will consist of M2 2 X ( 2 X 2M12's ). 2 X 2M12's Horizontal Stacked, 2 X 2M12's Vertical Stacked to allow for Spatial and Faraday Rotation Switching. Still under construction as of 02-02-2000. 432 EME array will be a pair of 9 WL on the same H-Frame and 400 watts .
SSTV will soon be on the air soon using JVComm 32. Also will try PSK on HF.
