Sarah Browning was the daughter of Francis Browning II and Frances Norman.  They were married about 1741 and had eleven children.  Francis Browning II was the son of Francis Browning I and Elizabeth Lloyd.  He was born about 1700, he came from Caroline County, Virginia and settled near Gaines Cross Roads, near Rappahannock in 1735.
