after Labor Day to the last Thursday before Daylight Savings Time begins
(which is the first Sunday in November). For 2009, that will be

The Race:
|
First choose your distance--1-mile,
2-mile,
or 3-mile. Then, predict your time, and take off your wristwatch! All
races start together. |

Course Description:
|
All three races start and finish at
Rahilly Park. The exact courses are under development, but will be
on bike paths, avoiding public streets and traffic. This is a fun event, typically including runners and walkers from age 5
to 75. |
Awards:
|
1st, 2nd, and 3rd place ribbons go to those
closest to their predicted times for each race, NOT to the fastest runners. No age
group awards. You could run a 10:00 minute mile and take 1st
place! |
Additional Information:
|
No wrist watches allowed
during the race! There are ample parking and restrooms
available. |
