5-Mile Run, 2-Mile Run/Walk and Children's 10 & Under Fun Run

The Udder Run is one of the area�s most unique �fun
run� events. Our 5 mile run
is a loop course where runners will experience
Jersey cows up close and personal as they run past Clauss
Dairy and through two dairies:
Wickstrom Brothers Dairy and Yosemite Jersey Dairy.
Our 2 mile run is an out and back rural course.
Both races start together at Hilmar
Middle School and run through a
Holstein
dairy within the first half mile.
The Udder Run is held in association with the
Merced Running Club and benefits the Hilmar High School and Hilmar Middle School
track teams. Last year�s
event raised $3,800 that was shared between both teams.
More than 110 students participate on our track teams.
Upon finishing their events, entrants feast on a
post race spread that includes plenty of Hilmar Cheese, bagels, yogurt,
chocolate milk, fruit, cookies and more.
During our awards ceremony, Hilmar Cheese baskets
will be presented to the overall and masters male and female winners of
each race. Hilmar Cheese
Coupons will be given to all first place division winners.
Medals will be awarded 1st � 3rd in 50
divisions!

All entrants receive one free entry into our raffle
which is immediately following the awards ceremony.
Once again, Cloth & Quilts of Turlock is donating a
beautiful quilt and there will be a number of gift cards and gift
baskets.
Kids 8 and under can participate in free fun runs
immediately following the 5 mile run.
All children will receive medals as they cross the finish line.
We are excited that On Your Mark will be enhancing
our runners� experience by enabling us to provide our results quickly
and efficiently. If you haven�t
been part of the Udder Run yet, please join our rural agriculture
community for a morning of great running, food and fun!

Course Description:

2-mile: Out and back paved
road * one aid station
5-mile: Loop course consisting of paved road, gravel and dirt * three
aid stations |

Lots of age groups! Medals first through third and each
division winner receives a coupon for a pound of Hilmar Cheese. |
Awards:
|
 Hilmar
Cheese gift baskets to first male and female open and masters finishers
in 2 and 5 mile races.
Pound
of Hilmar Cheese to each division winner (5 year increments after age 18
through age 80).
Medals
1st to 3rd in each division.
First
150 entrants guaranteed Dri Fit shirts. Entry includes Dri Fit shirt
with our cow logo, post race refreshments including Hilmar Cheese, milk,
fruit, bagels, etc., and one entry into our raffle.
Special
Father's Day raffle for all Dads running in the 2 and 5 mile races.
Post
race refreshments will include Hilmar Cheese, bagels, muffins, cookies,
milk, yogurt, fruit, Gatorade and water.

Traveling South on 99: take the Hilmar, Lander Ave., Los Banos exit.
Turn right on Lander. Continue until you are in Hilmar. You will go
through 3 stop lights, go past Hilmar High School and Elim Elementary,
then turn right on Geer Ave. Hilmar Middle School will be on the right.
Traveling North on 99: Take the Collier Road exit. Turn left at the
bottom of the off ramp. Road will eventually head directly West and
becomes Bloss Avenue. Stay on Bloss until you get to Hilmar. Turn left
when you get to the first stop light (McDonald's). Go past Hilmar High School and
Elim Elementary;
turn right on Geer Ave. Hilmar Middle School will be on the right. |
